This guide will explain how you receive funds in your bank account after your customers make online payments.
Overview of Getting Paid
Payment Process Explained
Customer Payment: A customer completes an online payment successfully.
Transfer to TWICE Payments Account: Funds are transferred to your TWICE Payments account and marked as payable balance.
Preparation for Payout: Commissions and refunds are deducted, and the payout is prepared.
Bank Processing: The payout is sent to your bank account.
Pay Periods
The pay period refers to the time from when a customer places an order to when the funds are ready to be sent to your bank account. Normally, this period is about 2 business days, though delays can occur due to the involvement of multiple parties and steps. Note that payouts are not processed on weekends or bank holidays.
Payout Cycle
By default, the payout cycle is daily on weekdays. This cycle means that each weekday, your payable balance from the TWICE Payments account is sent to your bank account. You can contact our support team to change this cycle to daily, weekly, or monthly based on your preference.
Payout Amount
The total funds received from orders are grouped together and sent as one payment, according to your payout cycle. This total includes all payable balances with deductions for any payment commissions and refunds.
Reconciling a Received Payout
Understanding Your Payout:
Check Your Bank Statement: Look at the registration date for the payout you want to reconcile.
Access the TWICE Accounting Report: Based on the registration date, open the accounting report for the relevant period.
Calculate the Total: Add up the total from the Bookings section, and subtract totals from the Refunds and Payment Fees sections.
Match with Payout: The calculated sum should match the payout registered in your bank. If it does not, payments with a longer pay period may be included in the next payout.
How Payouts Appear on Your Bank Statement
Payouts from TWICE Payments, processed by Adyen N.V., appear on your bank statements as entries from "ADYEN N.V.", "ADYEN NV", or similar.
