How to Create a TWICE Payments Account

TWICE Payments provides a convenient and secure online payment solution, available to businesses or individuals based in supported countries. This article guides you through the process of setting up a TWICE Payments account, ensuring you can start accepting online payments efficiently.

Steps to Activate Your TWICE Payments Account

  1. Navigate to Your Payment Settings:

    • Go to Account -> Payments in your TWICE dashboard.

  2. Click Complete Setup in the TWICE Payments section. Your initial information will be pre-filled based on the details you provided when creating your TWICE account, but you can make changes if necessary.

    Enter Your Business Details

    • Business Name: Enter the legal name of your business.

    • Email: Specify your business email.

    • Country: Select the country where your business is registered.

    • Currency: Set the currency in which you accept payments. It's important to note that the currency must match the geographical location of your business as registered in your TWICE settings.

  3. Continue to Verification:

    • Confirm that you do not sell any prohibited or restricted products or services and click Continue to Verification. You will be redirected to our payment processing partner, Adyen N.V., to complete the verification.

Important Verification Steps:

Fill in every required information until all 3 sections have a green "verified" checkmark and no errors indicate missing or incorrect information.

  1. Business Details

    • Legal business name (if different: Doing Business as)

    • Company registration number, tax number

    • Business phone, email, and address

    • Upload a document to verify your business credentials.

  2. Decision-Makers

    • Enter details for all company owners and at least one signatory (note: one person can hold multiple roles).

    • Provide personal details such as name, date of birth, address, email, and phone number for each.

    • Upload an ID document for identity verification.

  3. Bank Details

    • Specify details for the bank account that will receive your payouts.

    • Include the name on the bank account, the country, the currency code, and IBAN.

    • Upload a bank document to verify this account.

Verification and Activation:

  • Once you submit all details, your account will typically be verified within one business day. You can immediately begin accepting payments, but note that payouts will be held until your account details are fully verified. Ensure you check back in on your Account > Payments to see if your TWICE Payment Account has the Status "Active" and Payouts "Active"

Enabling Payments:

  • Activate the desired payment methods by toggling them on under Account > Payments for the available options.
