Placing a test order

Seeing your store from a customer's perspective is key to understanding their experience. Let's take on the role of a customer

  1. Launch your store

    • Click the Online Store button on the top right corner of your TWICE Admin's homepage.

  2. Navigate your store as a customer

    • Browse your store from a customer's perspective.

  3. Add product to cart

    1. Select your product, choose a rental duration and start time, and add it to your order.

  4. Proceed to checkout

    • Complete the checkout process, filling in contact details and selecting the Pay in-store Payment method.

  5. Confirm the order

    • Finalize your test order and check your email for the order confirmation, mimicking the customer experience. This step is key in ensuring everything is set up correctly and provides insight into how your customers will interact with your online store.

Managing the order

Leaving the customer role behind, let's jump back into your Twice Admin to have a look at the order:

  1. View the Test Order in TWICE Admin

    • Navigate to Orders to see all upcoming orders. Here you should already see your test order.

  2. Manage Order Details

    • Click on your test order to view its details, edit the start time and date, change the price, and additional product, or start the fulfillment process by clicking "start order"

Completing the steps above not only gets your first product up and running but also familiarizes you with the key aspects of managing your product catalog and orders. You're now well on your way to expanding your catalog and optimizing your online store for success.
