Learn How Your Customers Place Subscription Orders in Your Online Store

Updated over a week ago

Your TWICE online store is designed to be as intuitive as possible, providing a great experience for all your customers. Discover how your customers experience ordering a subscription product from your store.

Note, that the actual customer journey depends on multiple factors, thus the example below can differ due to your chosen homepage layout, your TWICE plan, and additional settings, such as product variants, deliveries, and recommended products.

Steps in the Customer Journey

  1. Browsing and Selecting a Product:

    • Customers browse your online store and select the product they are interested in by clicking on its image, headline, or price.

  2. Subscribing to the Product:

    • Customers select the option to Subscribe to the product.

  3. Choosing the Subscription Duration

    • A dropdown menu will show all possible subscription periods and the corresponding monthly fee.

  4. Choosing the and Start Time of the Subscription

    • A booking calendar will display your product's availabilities.

    • Customers can pick a start day for their subscription and select the exact start time according to your product's settings.

  5. Adding to Order:

    • After clicking the Add to Order button, the customer's order will be displayed in the upper right corner.

    • Customers can choose to continue shopping or proceed to checkout.

  6. Checkout Process:

    • At checkout, customers provide their contact details, agree to your Terms of Service, provide their payment card details, and confirm they understand the purchase includes recurring charges.

    • With a click on the large Pay button, the order is placed, the first monthly fee is charged, and customers receive an automated booking confirmation and payment receipt.

  7. Order Confirmation and Management:

    • The order confirmation email includes a link where customers can manage their subscription.

    • They can view the order details, manage their payment cards, or end the subscription (if it is an open-ended subscription) in any language enabled for your sales channels.
