How to end an order and release the deposit

When a customer has returned the rented products back to you, you should end the order and, if you have previously collected it, release their deposit through the admin page.

  1. Open the Active orders page (Orders -> Active) and find the relevant booking either by scrolling down or using the search field.
  2. Click on the booking and check that all of the rented items were returned.
  3. If everything is correct, click the End Order button at the bottom right of the pageScreenshot 2023-10-12 at 2.17.34 PM

Caution: Even if you forget to mark the order as completed, Twice's availability calculation will count the included products as in stock from the end date selected at the time of booking (unless the return date has been manually changed along the way).

Ending an order with a deposit

  1. If all of the items are returned correctly and undamaged, click End Order and confirm the release of the deposit when prompted.
  2. If some items are damaged or missing, charge the appropriate deposit amount by going into Payment Summary -> Transactions -> Charge
