Many European Union countries require commercial websites to create an imprint that displays business information. This guide helps you create an imprint page and outlines the content you should include.

How to Create an Imprint Page

You have two options for creating an imprint page: use your TWICE online store's About page or create a separate imprint page on your existing website and embed your TWICE online store.

Using Your About Page as Your Imprint Page:

  1. Access the Customizer:

    • In your TWICE Admin App, go to Settings > Online Store.

    • Select About from the top left dropdown menu.

  2. Add Imprint Information:

    • Click +Add Section and create a text content block by clicking +Add Content.

    • Include the necessary information as outlined in the "What information to include" section below.

    • Save and publish your settings.

Creating a Separate Imprint Page on Your Existing Website:

  1. Create an Imprint Page:

    • Use your website builder to create a separate imprint page.

    • Add a link to this page in the footer of your website.

  2. Embed Your TWICE Online Store:

    • Follow our embedding instructions.

What Information to Include

The imprint should always include:

  • Business Name

  • Business Address

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

Include the following information if applicable:

  • The name of your supervising authority, if your business requires a license

  • Your license numbers or trade registry numbers

  • The legal form and the authorized representative(s) of the business (for legal entities)

  • Your VAT number

  • Your company registration number (or equivalent state-issued number)

  • The professional bodies of which you are a member

  • The names of the company’s directors

  • A link to EU online dispute resolution: EU ODR

By following these steps, you can create a compliant and informative imprint page for your TWICE online store or website.
