How is Resales different from Sales product on the Rental Side?

In a nutshell, Rentals and Resales are playing in separate sandboxes right now. For Rentals, we're accustomed to setting up an SKU-based inventory on one hand and creating the product catalog on the other hand, before connecting them.

Resales keep it fuss-free – one item equals one listing. Rentals have their comfy spot in the included Twice online store, while Resales are spread into the world with unique URLs. Eventually, everything will come together seamlessly, but we still have some work to do for that.

What is a listing?

A listing is a digital profile for each item you're putting up for sale in our Resales feature. It's like your item's online ID card, featuring the price, an image, and a description. The unique URL makes it easy to share on various channels at the same time. When someone buys it, the link updates everywhere simultaneously, and the item is displayed as sold behind the link.

For example, you could share your listing's URL in relevant Facebook groups, on TikTok as well as on Instagram. If one of your Instagram Followers buys the item, the information behind the unique link will update immediately on Facebook and TikTok as well and the item will be displayed as sold.

How many listings can I have active?

In our current BETA phase, there are no limitations on the number of listings you can have active. Feel free to showcase as many items as you'd like, and let the Resales creativity flow!

Supported image files and recommended size?

We support image files in the .jpg and .png formats.

To ensure your images look their best, we recommend a size of 1024x1024 pixels.

Where can I leave feedback?

Where should I share my listings?

Anywhere and everywhere! Your Resales listing's unique URL is its golden ticket, making your item stand out wherever it goes – TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, or even a message in a bottle. It's designed to be versatile, so share away and watch your audience grow!

When do you update the Resales feature?

We work continuously on the improvement of both Resales and Rentals and aim to bring the two together as soon as possible. Our goal is to release something new or improve something existing on a weekly basis - stay up to date by subscribing to our product updates.

Which payment methods are supported?

Currently, we're keeping it simple with manual payment methods. That means transactions are handled outside of Twice Commerce – think cash or any method where you and the buyer sort out the payment directly. But no worries: We're gearing up to introduce online payment support soon.

Why can't I add the listing to my Online Store?

Currently, Resales and Rentals are like two pals exploring different paths. Rentals have their own spot in the online store, while Resales are out there with their unique URLs, socializing on different channels. In the future, as we make things spiffier, Resales will have the option to join the online store gathering. Stay tuned with our updates.

Why is Resales separate from Rentals?

Right now, Resales and Rentals are on separate tracks because, well, we had to start somewhere. The beta phase for Resales is our way of giving you a sneak peek into the future. It's a deliberate step in our journey to eventually merge both Resales and Rentals into a seamless experience. We're working behind the scenes to make it happen, and as we progress, we'll keep you informed every step of the way.
