Understanding Product Variants and How to Add Them on TWICE

Updated over a week ago

Product variants allow you to offer your products in multiple options, such as different sizes, colors, or materials. This feature is beneficial when products have variations that might influence the customer's choice. For instance, offering a bicycle in small, medium, and large sizes ensures that all customer needs are met.

Adding Variants

  1. Select the Product: From the Catalog, choose the product you wish to edit.

  2. Create Variant Options: Click on Variants, then Add option, and name the option (e.g., size). This name will be visible to your customers in your online store.

  3. Add Product Variants: Click on New product variant and create as many variants as needed for each option.

Note: If your product has multiple variant options, ensure you configure all possible combinations to avoid making options mutually exclusive.

Setting Variant Pricing

  • Configure Pricing: After adding variants, go to the Pricing settings and scroll down to Variant Pricing.

  • Adjust Prices: Input a price increase for the desired variant and click Save Changes.

Note: The price increase is applied per product, not multiplied by the duration of the booking.

How Variants Are Displayed in Sales Channels

  • Online Store: Customers will be prompted to choose a variant before adding the product to their cart.

  • Admin Booking View: When creating bookings manually, your store personnel will choose a variant, with availability displayed for each.

  • Self Check-In Kiosk: Variants will be selectable after booking duration is chosen, with details printed on receipts and selectable by store personnel during order fulfillment.
