Adjusting Product Visibility
Navigate to Product Settings: Go to Catalog > Products and select the product you wish to edit.
Go to the General Tab: Select the General tab once you have chosen your product.
Change the Status: In the Status section, you have two options:
Public: Select this to make the product visible to all customers.
Hidden: Choose this if you do not want the product to be visible in your store.
Benefits and Uses of Hiding Products
Hiding products can be strategically beneficial in several scenarios:
Seasonal Preparations: Hide products that are being updated for upcoming seasons, allowing you to perfect listings before they go live.
Exclusive Offers: Keep products hidden for exclusive releases or special promotions targeted at specific groups of customers.
Inventory Management: Temporarily hide products that are out of stock or being phased out.
Note: While hidden from the general storefront, these products can still be accessed through direct links, allowing you to share exclusive products with select customers. They can also be part of packages or suggested as recommended products in related searches.
